Today I have decided to do my August favourites, now I know that it is a little bit late but its been induction week at college and things are crazy busy!
The first thing on the list is hair oil, ALBERTO BALSAM, SMOOTH AND SLEEK NOURISHING OIL. (50ml)
I love this product the thing that stood out to me the most was the smell, its incredible – the best smelling hair oil I have ever tried, I have actually had many compliments on the smell of my hair since using this hair oil, I love it. I have been using this product everyday since the beginning or August and I still have half a bottle which is great and plus the price is around £2.00 in any supermarket or drugstore, however you can often find this product on sale for around £1. I use this product on the ends of my hair after straitening, it takes away any frizz and makes your hair super shiny and silky to the touch.
This hair oil gets a 10/10 from me and I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a hair oil.
Second on the list is a lip product, MUA LUXE VELVET LIP LACQUER.
This liquid lipstick is a incredible dupe for the Kylie Jenner lip kits. I have seen so much about liquid lipsticks lately they just seem to be the trend, not to mention they are amazing! These liquid lipsticks are from Superdrug costing £3.oo each which is very cheap compared to the £25.00 pounds you would be cashing out for the kylie Jenner lip kit.
The packaging looks very sleek, expensive, kinda beautiful actually. They have a lovely range of colours as shown below.
They lipsticks are very pigmented, bright and dry quickly being completely matte. They don’t last as long as I would like, around 5 hours I would say but for the price you cant really complain – it’s a bargain! I find the product very nourishing and moisturising on the lips and that’s why I love it. If your looking for a cheap alternative for a liquid lipstick, this is amazballs!
The third thing is I’m loving at the moment is nothing beauty related its the TV series. THE VAMPIRE DIARY’S. I cant even explain how much I love the Vampire diaries at the moment, its my guilty pleasure. It reminds me of a better explained, more realistic version of twilight. The show is filled with exciting plot twists, there has not been one boring episode yet! Every episode has a exciting twist, and is filled with unexpected things. That’s what I love most about the show its not predicable. I hate predicable things but this isn’t one of those things, everything you think is going to happen, starts to happen and then takes a twisted turn, it definitely keeps you interested.
