YVES Saint Laurent Le Teint Touché Eclat Foundation Review

Hello beauties, today we are talking foundations. I haven’t done a review in ages, it’s well overdue -so here we go. The product I’m going be reviewing for you is the YVES Saint Laurent Le Teint Touché Eclat Foundation. I got given a sample at my local Boots store  which I was very exciting however I am very indecisive about this one, it has a lot of pros and cons.

This is what the full bottle looks like, it retails at £33.50 from Boots.

It comes in a huge range of different colours for different skin tones 22 to be exact! The foundation claims to have coverage whilst feeling weightless, i can confirm It does feel very light on the skin however the coverage isn’t there for me. I love the dewy, radiant finish, it blends beautifully and effortlessly with a beauty blender, which is definitely a plus! I have noticed the little sample bottle has lasted 2 weeks longer than I was informed which is also a amazing benefit.

I must say this foundation doesn’t work on my skin type, I’m oily – this foundation slides off my face too quickly. I had a colour match in store then to find it oxidise’ on the skin. When I am having a bad skin day, which is a lot of the time. It clings to my acne and dry patches, it clumps and cakes around those areas which is not pleasant. However if I was having the once in a blue moon good skin day then I think the caking wouldn’t be there as it’s just smooth skin.

Best and Worst of Movies in the Last 12 Months.

Hello beauties, movies are such a cosy thing. I love being all snuggled up in bed with a good movie. Today I’m going to talk you through my best and worst movies of the last 12 months. I hope you enjoy these movies as much as I did.

Favourites

1.Bridget Jones Baby

I always feel like Bridget Jones is such a feel good movie, I always without fail feel good after watching the move. Plus you get 5 minutes of Ed Sheehan which is amazing!

2.Power Rangers

I saw this with my partner as he wanted to see it, it was SO GOOD! The costumes, the cast the story line everything was brilliant.

3.Logan
I’m not going to give anything away if you haven’t seen this already however it was a spectacular way to end the X Men movies. Emotional, heart warming – you see a different side of Logan.

4.Suicide Squad

Harley Quinn is definitely something. I was never a fan of Cara Delevingne acting however she played the witch incredibly.

5.Moana

I thought I wouldn’t like this, I was wrong. The chicken is my favourite character.

6.Beauty and the Beast

I cried so much in the cinema, really tugs at the heart strings. I haven’t liked any of all the new Disney remakes so far, but Emma Watson played a stunning belle.

Worst

1.Trolls

This film was such a disappointment, I wanted to love it but I couldn’t.

2.50 Shades Darker

The first film was incredible, it had a strong story line and the naughty scenes were not too much. In 50 Shades Darker, I struggled to work out the story line it was all a bit scattered. I worked out the story line as… talk, sex, talk, sex, talk, sex, gun, sex, talk, talk, sex, talk.

3.Sausage Party

Horny food. That’s what this film is about

What I Want to Achieve Before I’m 20

Hello beauties, today I am going to talk about my goals for the next two years. I’m one of those people that always put things off, I say to myself – I will just start next week. This goes on until I just end up achieving absolutely nothing. I thought I would write about my goals for my readers, this way I will be able to stay motivated to achieve more.
To adopt a dog. Any dog, I just really would like to recuse a dog.
Rent a bungalow with my partner, a house would be too scary when I’m home alone.

Start the gym at some point, any point! I’m sure it can be dome in the two years in giving myself haha.

Go on a boat, I really like boats.
Meet a monkey, I adore monkeys however I’ve never seen one.

Start a YouTube channel 🙂

To complete my level 3 qualification in business with a triple distinction. I love business, I know tad boring but I really enjoy it.

Go to university to study criminology.

Reach 700 followers on my blog, I love blogging so much.

Skydive-original I know.

My Peircings.

Hello beauties, I love piercings I love them more than tattoos as they are not permanent and I’m always changing my mind. When I was younger I wanted every pricing ever, that’s changed how however I have a few and thought I would share them with you today.
1. Tragus piercing

I love this one, I think it’s so pretty. People say the tragus piercing is very painful however I didn’t find that, I would say about 4/10. The first time I got it done was at a dodgy place it ended up infected and I had to take it out… opps. The second time at a different place went all fine. I find this piercing easy to sleep on as it just misses the pillow and their is no weight on it.

2. Belly piercing

I adored my belly piercing, I used to walk around in crop tops just to show it off, It hurt quite a bit around a 6/10, it was a slow process compared to the tragus as it was thicker skin, it felt like she was piercing for a long time. I brought endless amounts of cute belly bars, and told everyone about it. I’m not going to lie, I really don’t like it anymore, I don’t know why-I just don’t.

3. Cartilage piercing

I got a double helix piercing on the same day, it was my first piercing I don’t think I was prepared for how much this would hurt. It hurt so bad a 9/10, I couldn’t sleep on the ear for 4 months, they were so sore, kept catching on my clothes-but I love them. Maybe they wouldn’t of hurt so much if I got them different days but I know if I didn’t get both there and then I would chicken out. I think they are both really pretty, I love putting hoops in them.

Life From My Cats Perspective

Hello beauties, today I’m doing something a little different. I have a strange little cat, I thought I would let him share his Monday with you.
I’m Biggie.

I must say my favourite thing to do first thing in the morning is meow, I love singing a good song outside my owners doors until they let me inside their bedroom for a cuddle. However I tend to get distracted and chew things on the way, mostly wires, cables they don’t look important -I’m sure it’s okaay. This is my favourite ‘do you have any food’ look, it works most the time- I’m defiantly a charmer.

I love food, most of my day consists of meowing for food, stealing my family’s food, I especially love porridge, I shouldn’t I know but I love it, sometimes I even love to wear it on my head, it’s truly a statement piece, all the cats in the village will be jealous – top designers, hit me up! So this is me posing, I am a little annoyed as she didn’t get the right angle to show my best features-this will do…I suppose. In this next photo, I don’t know what this is, but it’s so tasty. I love this photo of me, it shows me in my element.

I found this today, hmm what is it? I will teach you to mess with me you squishy thing. Everyone was staring at me doing this, I think they were impressed by my bravery.

Oh no I got caught! Can never get any privacy. Maybe they didn’t see. I see how it is, whenever I want to join them in the bath it’s a big no no, however they walk in on me.

Best of Netflix!

Hello beauties, I’m a bit of a Netflix lover. I like to binge watch shows in one day because I have to know what happens next. If you enjoy your Netflix’s as much as I do then settle down to read this post as their is some amazing shows on my list.

1. Series of Unfortunate Events

This series is is based off a popular book series ‘Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events’. It tells the story of 3 children that lose their parents in a fire and Count Olaf is trying to steal their enormous fortune.

2. The Missing

This one is my favourite. I haven’t watched season 1 only season 2 I don’t think they are linked as nothing was confusing. The show is about a girl called Alice who went missing when she was young, Alice turns up out of nowhere and the storyline is figuring out what happened to her. It’s full of unexpected twists and turns and nothing is ever as it seems. Definitely one to watch if you love a good mystery.

3. 13 Reasons Why

Now this is a new show that a managed to binge watch in one day, it unravels the story of why a young girl committed suicide, she left tapes and each tape tells a part of the story. Again this is one of those story’s where everything starts coming together towards the end, it keeps you guessing. Its definitely worth watching, I was not disappointed.

4. Orange is the New Black

Now I know a lot of people disliked this show, a lot of people told me I wouldn’t like it. Well… I loved it!! It follows a female prison and a women called Piper who is put in jail for a year however she doesn’t think she is cut out for it. It’s very entertaining, the prison gossip is hilarious.

5. Scream

If you love the movies, you will love this. I feel the series is better than the movies, the killer is a lot more realistic and the story goes into a lot more depth than the movies. With the movies I found I knew who the killer was half way though, I didn’t know with this show – I really didn’t! Very twisty story with a lot of unexpected shocks. Brilliant.

These are my favourite shows, let me know yours in the comments I would love to hear what your favourite Netflix shows are❤

What’s In My Bag

Hello beauties, today I am going to share… What’s In My Bag. I love being nosey and reading these posts. I hope you enjoy

This Bag is from Topshop, it was £42 and I love it! I needed a Bag that zipped at the top as my current bag didn’t, when it rained I had issues with soggy coursework as you can imagine. This Bag is still in store now

This is what’s In my bag,

I carry my Ted Baker makeup bag with all the makeup in wearing that day, I tried only being a few essentials however the products I didn’t bring would mess up on my face during the day. Just my luck!

My glasses, I brought Cosmopolitan glasses as I am awful for wearing them, designer glasses are motivating.

Sure deo, so I can stay fresh thoughtout the day.

GHOST perfume mini, minis are my favourite to take out and about as they don’t take up a lot of space. This is one of my favourite scents ever!

Gum, I have bubblegum flavour. Yummm

Mini hairbrush, I have bangs so it’s needed constantly.

Keys, for the obvious reason of being able to get into my house.

Hair tie and clip as I always need one when I don’t have one.

My purse has my life in it, cards, cash, passport all the things I need. My purse has seen better days it’s looking a bit old.

Earphones, to cancel out the noisy people on the bus and to listen to my favourite tunes.

Things not to say to someone with a mental illness

Hello beauties, i love reading these types of posts as I can somewhat relate to them. So I thought I would share my opinions of ‘What not to say to someone with a mental illness’.

1. Your not OCD, people will OCD are clean.

This one just makes me laugh. OCD is no where near just being clean or neat, that’s only a small section of the disorder. OCD has many different sections such as checking, intrusive thoughts, magical thinking and many more.

2.  Stop taking your antidepressants, you will feel better

I really don’t like hearing this one as it makes the person feel ashamed of taking the medication.

3. Your such a emo

Self harm is a very complicated thing, people shouldn’t be defined by it and definitely not stereotyped by this. If you notice that someone is self harming, this is the worst thing to say.

4.  Just be happy, get out of bed and be happy

For some people the basic tasks of day to day life are too much.

5. Stop attention seeking

It’s a cry for help not attention seeking.

6. She did that because of her mental illness

Not everything someone does is a result of their mental illness.

7. I was depressed for a few days once, I know how you feel.

Simple answer. No you don’t

My Favourite Tunes Of The Month!

Hello beauties, today I will be sharing my favourite tunes of the month. Most people love music, I know I do it’s a huge part of my life, hopefully I can give you some musical inspiration through sharing my favourite tunes with you

1. Selena Gomez – It Anit Me

This song just makes me want to party! Definitely a mood booster. I always have a little party in my head when listening to this masterpiece of a song.

2. Julia Michaels – Issues

I heard this song from Elle B, she covered this on YouTube and it was Incredible, this girl is incredibly talented and extremely inspirational.

3. Alessia Cara – How Far I’ll Go

Yes it’s a Disney song! The new Disney film Moana, this song was played throughout and I can’t get enough of it. I must say it’s been on repeat on the bus a lot for me.

4. James Arthur – Finally

I followed him from the start and will continue to the end, I must say I do have kinda a HUGE crush on him. Love the new album but also love the older songs.

5. Sada Vidoo – The Winner Takes It All

A beautifully unique voice this women has. She was one the X Factor last year, a lot of people disliked her due to her doll like appearance however I loved it. Such a unique beauty.

6. Harry Styles – Sigh Of The Times

I wasn’t a fan of one direction apart from ‘THATS WHAT MAKES YOU BEAUTIFUL’ because.. who doesn’t. This song.. I have no words just listen…

Why I took a break from blogging Q&A! Beauty, lifestyle, about me

Where have I been??

Hiya beauties, today I am going to be answering your questions to do with why I took a break from blogging, what I want to do with my blog and how I am going to go forward. This post is going to be very raw, I only realised a lot of this after writing it all down, so here we go….

1. Do you still enjoy writing beauty blogs?

Yes, I love it! However when I was blogging everyday I struggled for new ideas everyday, I couldn’t afford to keep buying new products to try. It put me down quite a bit as I wanted to be able to blog every day about all these wonderful beauty products however it just wasn’t possible.

I really want to start lifestyle blogging, maybe some recipes, advice, mental health advice and some fashion things, let me know what you think!

2. What haven’t you posted in a while?

I was lacking ideas, I wasn’t enjoying it anymore it felt forced. My blog wasn’t me, it didn’t reflect me as a person it reflected who I thought people wanted me to be. Whilst saying that I do have a lot of new ideas for posts that are 100% me, I am so excited to share them with you! My blog is having a makeover!

Another reason is college, I’ve been really knuckling down at college as I would love to do criminology at university. I’m doing well though all distinctions!!

3. 5 facts about you?

I love watching Next Top Model purely for the drama!

LOVEE MONKEYSS

Porridge is my favourite food (boring I know!)

I suffer from OCD… good to get that off my chest

I once accidentally spilt yogurt on my cat

4. Are you proud of your blog success?

Now I wouldn’t say my blog is mega successful. I have around 350 followers which I think is amazing, I see that am think I’m flipping Zoella haha. It really is a confidence booster. I know 350 is nothing to some and everything for some, it’s everything to me. I would love for my blog to continue to grow it’s like my little family, I have had some followers who have reached out to me which is incredible. I have a blog plan now for new posts 5 times a week, I am getting on top of this as I absolutely adore doing this.

I remember I posted a Instagram post, and within one minute I had 100 likes. I was crying thinking that something was wrong with my Instagram, or it has been hacked, not one part of me thought that people might actually be liking my post. I did realise… eventually. It was GREAT!
