MUA Matte Lipstick – Scarlett Siren Review!

Hello girlies,

Today I am going to be reviewing the MUA Matte Lipstick in ‘Scarlett Siren’. I pair this with my MUA red lip liner

This is what the lipstick looks like I’m the tube

And this is how it looks on the lips!

I love the colour of this lipstick although the colour is a more bright pinky red compared to the deep red that it looks in the tube.

I love this product, I think the extra lipstick at the bottom is such a great touch, I love the white tube and silver writing it’s so sleek and simple. It’s such good value for money £1 each from SuperDrug!

This is a stunning shade, it’s smooth and moisturising. As I said before it’s not as pigmented as it looks in the tube but the colour is still beautiful. I used a lip balm before applying this lipstick as it can be difficult to apply but with a little bit of lip balm and lip liner, it’s the perfect red lipstick! I prefer matte red over shiny, glossy red so if you prefer matte red too, this lipstick is for you! This lipstick is kiss proof and drinking proof, it doesn’t last all day but a good five hours which is great for a £1! The product is very lightweight, smells great and doesn’t bleed! Thumbs up from me!

Rimmel London Colour Rush Balm Reveiw

Hello girlies, today I am going to Reveiw the ‘Rimmel London Colour Rush Balm’ That retails at £7.99

There are so many different colours you can get this balm in, which is amazing as sometimes you love a product but can’t find it in the right shade.

I find this product very creamy plus moisturising, it applys very smoothly and to me they smell a bit like vanilla!( but I have heard people say they smell like mint, strawberry and even cupcakes! all sorts!) I love a good lip product with a pleasant scent, that isn’t too strong. I think you should definitey use a lip liner with this product as it I feel like you can’t get a good line on the top lip, but that’s my only major fault. This product stays on after eating but loses its shine, but that’s Okaay, because the product has stained your lips (in a good way). It doesn’t feel as heavy as a lipstick but has all the qualitys of a lipstick, being pigmented, easy to apply ECT. You can also build it up if you want a more intense look.

I feel this lip product is perfect for summer, Spring and I will definitey purchase more shades!

Benefits of Pineapple

Hello girlies,

Today I am going to share some health benefits of pineapples!

Pineapples have vitimin, A, C, PP, D aswell as iron, calcium, magnisium, iodine, copper and potassium and other nutrients so its no wonder they have some amazing health benifits, here are a few I love!

1. You can use wedged pineapple to exfoliate your skin. It eliminates the dead skin and accentuates blood flow. This, in turn, makes your skin look brighter.

2. Pineapple has lots of vitiam A which keeps your nails plus hair strong, and stops breakage

3.When pineapple is used with coconut oil, it relieves chapped lips. Pineapple, like coconut oil, has skin hydrating and nourishing properties.

4. Soften your nails with a pineapple and coconut oil mixture

5. Pineapple is rich in bromelain, vitamin C, and dietary fiber that promote digestion. It can also lower blood pressure and cholesterol.

6. Pineapple can actually boast your fertility (in men and women) due to all the different nutrients and vitimins

7. Pineapple can also help with weight loss. (It only contains 48 calories)

MUA eyebrow pencil review (blonde)

Hello girlies, I have to say I’ve never seen my eyebrows this good before! This is my Reveiw on the MUA brow pencil which retails at £1 from SuperDrug. First thing that caught my eye about this product is the brush on the end, I didn’t think it would come in so handy but it does, it makes a huge difference in how natural the brows look, also in the shape and even to get a even colour all round.

The pencil is so smooth, I find some eyebrow pencils can be really difficult to apply as you have to press quite hard which hurts a little. This one is not like that it’s smooth, pigmented and a perfect colour match. I like to draw the shape of my brow, fill in the outer 3/4 and then comb the product through the first 1/4 to get a natural look.

I have not found a single fault with this product yet and I have been using it for around 6 months. I have heard some people say the pencil smudges in hot weather, but if you live in Britan there is not much chance of hot weather to smuge your gorgeous brows.

I love this product so much and will re-purchase without a doubt.

Rimmel Glam Eyes, Eyeshadow Quad Reveiw

Hello girlies,

Today i will be doing a review on the’Rimmel Glam Eyes Quad’

I love these palettes, there are so many different colour options, so you have the opportunity to create so many different looks.

The packaging of this product is amazing, sleek, sturdy and looks like it’s more expensive than it really is however I do not like the sponge tip applicator that comes with it, it is very small and fidly and doesn’t really work very well to get the disired look.

The product is very pigmented smooth and easy to apply, the colours blend very well together. I like how there is four colours so you could get a couple of different looks from one pallette, night time and day time. The eye shadows last all day and are very inexpensive retailing at £6.99 in any drugstore or big supermarket. Another thing I love is that there is a picture on the back showing you wear to put each colour which is very helpful for a lot of people.

Overall I love this, I use a big fluffy blending brush for blending and a small compact blush for the lid. Highly recommended! And great value for money

Rimmel London – Brow This Way Review!

Hello girlies, today I will be doing a review on the ‘Rimmel London, Brow This Way’

First off can I just say the box is so cute and I love the idea of a little brow brush it’s somthing I have never seen before in a eyebrow duo.

You can get 2 colours for this product a lighter and a darker depending on your colour brows, I like to use the lighter one. I think this product is extremely good value for money (£3.99) and is very high quality for a drugstore brand!

In this kit you get wax plus a powder, and a brush to apply with. The product blends really easily and doesn’t smudge! I also defiantly love the little brow brush, that is also included; because the product is so pigmented you only need a little product on your brows to achieve a brilliant natural look! ( for a even more natural look use only the powder, I do that sometimes and I love the results)

I would recommend this product for any eyebrow shade – just pick the one closest to your shade as you can adjust the darkness with how much you apply and layering it up. Overall great product!

Top songs to help you through a hard time!

Hello girlies,

So this is something a little bit different, but I feel it is nessercery – it’s simple really, I love to share my thoughts and feelings plus I love music. I don’t think I have ever mentioned this on my blog before but I am a music student so music is very close to my heart and helps me through tough times.

1. Lullaby – Nickleback LULLABY (link)

I love this song I really do, the lyrics are so deep and ,meaningful. I love this song because I can really relate to the words Chad is singing, and he’s singing about depression but in a positive way he’s explaining if your feeling low listen to the song (the lullaby )  I have to say it really does help cheer you up!

2. Fight Song – Rachael Platten FIGHT SONG (link)

Now this song is a little happier lyrically it’s about fighting through, taking back your life and being strong. The song itself makes you feel powerful when listening to it – a instant mood lifter! Weather it’s a hard day at work/school/uni or your sick or even your just feeling like you need some motivation, this is the song for you!

3. Recovery – James Arthur RECOVERY (link)

I love James Arthur, everything he sings means something and you can almost feel his pain due to the emotion in his voice when performing. This song is essentially about ‘recovery’ the lyrics read ‘in my recovery I’m a solider at war, I have broken down walls, I defined, I designed my recovery’. I think that pretty much explains it all. Your recovery from exams to eating disorders or depression. ‘I defined, I designed my recovery’ your in control.

4. F**k You – Lilly Allen F**K YOU (link)

This is pure genius. If someone has done something to get your down or your just not feeling people at this time – listen to this on repeat; it’s brilliant.

5. F**k You Right Back  F**K YOU RIGHT BACK (link)

The ultimate break up song, if your feeling guilty about a break up, your upset it ended or you broke up with someone because they weren’t who you thought.

MUA Blusher Reveiw

Hello girlies,

Today I will be reviewing the MUA blushes that retail at £1 each from SuperDrug which is a amazing price for this product!

First thing I love instantly is the packaging it’s so basic and compact which makes it eaiser to travel with. I also really like the range of coulors, some being sutle shades some brighter shades. They have colours for very natural looks and some for nights out, events or just if you prefer a brighter blush.

I have 3 of these blushes and they are very blendable, incredibly pigmented and so smooth to apply also you can built them up depending on how bright you want your blusher to be.

This blusher lasts all day I also like how great is works on fair skin as blush for fair skin can be very difficult to find in a natural shade. You only need a very little bit of product which I love because it makes it all more worth it! I have had mine for 5 months and it hasn’t hit pan yet!

The only downside is the shape of the blusher is awkward and makes it quite difficult to get the product on the brush, but apart from that it’s a 10 from me!

MUA Matte Lipstick Reveiw

Hello beautiful girlies,

I haven’t uploaded a blog yet today because I had a little accident and my whole finger nail got chopped off so typing is a little difficult. But I did some shopping to chear me up and I picked up these MUA matte lipsticks

I love matte lipsticks and I love these! £1 each, what’s not to love.

First off I love the tube it’s so basic and I love the idea of the little pot of the product in the bottom.

For me it has lasted since I put it on at 12 today, it was so moisturising and easy to apply, there is no feathering or signs of fading. The colours are so pigmented aswell as having a gorgeous selection, the product doesn’t bleed and smells great.

I struggle to find lipsticks that stay on my lips for more than a hour. But this one is incredible even better than some of the more expensive brands I have tried so a thumbs up from me and I would strongly recommend this product!

You can find this brand in SuperDrug and some supermarkets
