Fashion and Lifestyle Haul

Hello beauties, I’m excited for this one, today I have a well overdue haul! I went to Meadowhall shopping centre and picked up a few adorable things and thought I would share them with you.
Boyfriend Jeans (Primark £15)

I’ve been looking everywhere for a pair of boyfriend jeans that fit me perfectly. I struggle as they are a baggy fit so they need to be tight around the waist, I have a small waist so this is usually a stressful search. I found these in Primark and they are a perfect fit, I think they will look good with a black bodysuit or spaghetti strap tops in the summer.

Art Therapy Books

I am obsessed with these colouring books at the moment, they are definitely therapeutic. I brought these from a store that was closing down, I can’t remember the name but there were £1.50 each – incredible value. I have a lot of the movie art books however I always get nervous in case I mess them up as I’m known for clumsiness, I brought these so that I can be as clumsy as I like!

Sports Bra (Primark £5)

I’ve been really getting into the gym lately – well I went twice however I thought i it’s time I got so proper gym gear. I love the colour of this top and the patten in the back. It’s perfect fit and nothing falls out which is a problem I tend to get. I love it.

Dungaree Dress (H&M £25)

I love this little black denim number, I see so many people wearing these lately. I think they look so cute with either crop tops or tight jumpers underneath. I’ve never owned anything like this, it’s definitely something new for me -it’s adorable.

Pillow (Disney Store £7)

This is for my niece I swear…. nope it’s mine. I love it, so cute, also really comfy! I just fell in love instantly it was a spontaneous buy.

Exciting clothing HAUL!!

Hello beauties, today I have a haul for you. I probably shouldn’t of brought all this stuff however I did and I love it all. Right now I’m sitting all cosy, I got caught in the worst rain I’ve seen in ages! The point of me telling you this is that all my new clothes that I was wearing got drenched nevertheless they are currently drying on the radiator, it’s not all bad I have a bar of Oreo dairy milk-yumm yum.

The first item on my list of beautiful goodies is…

TIMBERLAND BOOTS, I bloody love them. I always um and ah about these as I adore them but the price tag hurts me. I would never be able to afford these alone so me and my boyfriend brought one shoe each. Worked out £65 each from office. It was the last pair and I think the women serving me wanted them as she seemed a bit annoyed that I was buying them…oops. I bet your thinking the colours a bit odd, I really love the colour it’s different to the classic Timberland boot colour whilst not being to bright. The colour works perfectly with most outfits, they are causing a few blisters but hopefully that subsides soon.

Next is a skirt from Topshop

i love Topshop clothing, I wouldn’t buy something that wasn’t in the sale though due to my tight budget being a student and all. This was £20 in the sale-I adore it. I find difficult to find skirts that fit around my bum and waist perfectly, but this skirt has a thumbs up from me. Plus it matches my next item.

I do have a obsession with this colour, I always tend to put my boyfriend in the direction of burgundy coloured clothes also, it’s great! These shoes were from New Look and cost £19 pound, what a bargain! I wanted a pair of heeled boots that were not too high for going out and nicer occasions as I am always in either converse, trainers or my new found love for my Timberland boots. I did have to size down in the shoes due to them not having my size however it was well worth it for these beauties.

I love this I think it’s great. I thought this would look so cute with a pair of boyfriend jeans or high waisted jeans I needed some more T-shirts. £5 a great price, plus I do love Harry Potter it reminds me of the Harry Potter puppet pals which is brilliant. That’s all from me(I may need to make a part 2) comment your thoughts and opinions below Lots of love Alex.xox

L’Oréal Paris Infallible TOTAL COVER foundation review

Hello beauts, my blog is back. To kick things off I am starting with a well overdue foundation review followed by a very exciting beauty and clothing haul tomorrow. So let’s get to the point the L’Oréal Infallible foundation..

Now first off the bottle is a yes from me, I definitely prefer plastic to glass foundation bottles. Yes glass is visually pleasing however is it worth the sudden rush of panic every time your bag of goods is dropped(plus if your clumsy like me-that’s often). I brought this after many good reviews it cost £9.99 from Superdrug on a 3for2 deal, because it was 3for2 I thought I would go all out and buy the L’Oréal beauty blender too-it wouldn’t feel right not too.

We will just ignore the upside down photo and the dirty beauty blender. The consistency for this product was a shock to me, it’s a thick mousse not in the slightest oily which is perfect for my acne prone skin. This applied smoothly, blendable and true to colour so there was no nasty surprises. Now this claims to be ‘total cover’ so it’s only right to talk about that, it’s BRILLIANT all the red blotches gone. Due to the consistency I expected a heavy feel but that wasn’t there, I forgot the foundation was there. I’ve tried many foundations and I actually gave up using it for a year due to not being able to find the perfect one for my difficult skin, and I bit the bullet and brought this beauty. My new makeup holy grail. L’Oréal Infallible.

That’s all from me beauts, leave below your comments and opinions on this foundation. 🙂

Favourite Netflix Picks for the Month

Hello sweets today I’m sitting watching Netflix all day long therefore i thought it would be relevant to share my favourite TV picks.

1. DEXTER!

I’m nearly on the last season, i adore this show…. it’s addictive. If you like a serial killer plus forensic blood splatter analysis in one, this is the show for you.

2. Rick and Morty

I’m unsure if this is Netflix but who cares good TV is what matters here 🙂

American Dad and Family Guy are great but they have slowed down a bit and watching the same episode over and ever isn’t fun. Rick and Morty is like these shows but a scientist and his grandson. BLOODY BRILLIANT, I find nothing funny but this is hilarious.

3. The Originals

Think of a more adult version of Thw Vampire Diaries, not that The Vampire Diaries isn’t great because it’s amazing. However take away the high school part and we have the Originals, plus Klous is definitely something good….

4. Riverdale

This had me on the edge of my seat well… bed, all season. It was full of twists and turns and it’s definitely so,etching to watch amazballs.

And now the best part, my favourite snacks for these Netflix shows… yumm yumm

Candy Floss Grapes are amazing. It’s not like when you get a flavoured thing and it tastes nothing like it, it’s very candyflossy! It makes healthy eating a tad bit easier.

Harribo Milkshakes are the best Harribos around yumm yumm yumm.

That’s all from me, let me know any Netflix shows I should be watching and what you watch off the list above

Driving, Jobs and Shopping!

Hiya everyone! Today I thought I would give you a tad update on things…

Number one… I have finally started to take driving lessons, yes I know I’m a little late but I never had the money but now I do(well I’m scraping together every penny to be a adult with a car that might possibly have eyelashes). How do I have the pennies to scrape up you may ask well… another adult step. A proper job…kinda, well they call when they need me thank god that’s a lot lately otherwise my dreams of having a mint car with eyelashes is over. I get I have to pass the test yet for my dreams to become reality but we have to start somewhere!

It’s mine and my boyfriends 3 years next month and he brought me some beautiful shoes, now they are no Jimmy Choo but to me a pair of converse is so much more exciting than a pair of heels I am unable to walk in leaving myself looking extremely strange to everyone around me. Just the original high top converse. Whenever I buy converse I go for crazy colour schemes and out there patterns but the original pair are the best bloody thing ever!

I also have been using a new toothpaste and mouthwash… more adult things(truly a adult when toothpaste excites you).  This is the Beverly Hills Formula Perfect White Black mouthwash and toothpaste. This can be brought in superdrug for £4.99(i got mine on sale for £1.50… bargain!) I never thought these ‘whitening’ products worked but this works wonders. Must say it’s a little strange using black toothpaste but it becomes normal. Tea and coffee stains are removed and my teeth have never looked better plus I’m definitely a fan of a bright smile.

That’s all from me sugar dumplings(naa that one isn’t great).

Let me know if you love Beverly Hills Formula as much as me and if you are a converse or heels girl!

Talk soon!

Beauty and Clothing Haul and Some Favourites

Hiya peeps(trying something new…. nope peeps isn’t happening).

I have gathered some things from various shops over the past few weeks and thought I would share them with you. I’m quite broke but it’s ok because I got myself a job! Anyways this is what I brought, plus some cheeky favourites.

Primark! I do love the shop, here’s what I brought.

Both the shorts and the skirt were £8 each, bargin! The shorts kinda of remind me of the clothes I used to wear when I was around six but ah well they are just so cute! The skirt is a staple piece that I’ve always wanted but never found, well Primark has done well, because I can now introduce you to my favourite piece of clothing, my £8 denim skirt.

This is a bra, I’m posting my bra on the interwebs… strange. I have to be honest I scribbled out the middle as it made me feel less embarrassed about my underwear being on the internet. It worked a charm, embarrassment… gone! I see these around a lot lately, people wearing low cut tops and the pretty design at the top being on display, however I can’t seem to find a top to work with it, any suggestions leave below! This bra needs to be worn. Oh yeah £6, amazballs!

Next is a Jeffree Star Liquid Lipstick in the colour Sagittarius. The people who come up with the names for these lip products are geniuses, I could never think of a name for every different lip shade. I could pretend that I brought this but I’m trying this thing where I’m completely honest, yeah my sister gave it too me – I can’t afford this stuff(yet). I love the colour it’s different, unique, beautiful.

Revolution palettes. These are amazing, such pretty colours. With the highligher and blush palette I get to look like a glitter bomb exploded on my face – never too much highlighter! With the contour palette I have one shade I adore, a contour shade that doesn’t make me look like a orange and who could want more than that.

(I only showed the first palette on my hand as I only use one colour in the second which is the one on the second row third in, my lack of photography skills make it look darker than it is but I promise perfect shade!)

FAVOURITES OF JULY!

I brought a DS, yes I know a little late to be getting on the trend however I love it! Zelda is my favourite at the moment however once I find Sims I will be unable to focus on anything other than.

This is poppy, we have a love hate relationship. I am a vocalist but I also have vocal problems so when poppy comes out and I try to sing with her we eaither click instantly or fail greatly. We have been clicking lately however I see our relationship going south after rehearsals today.

With college out of summer Netflix has become a daily thing. The Originals is my all time favourite for me personally it’s a better take of The Vampire Diaries and Klous is beautiful. Dexter is also a favourite at the moment, I’m also rewatching My Mad Fat Diary on more 4 which is brilliant!

Back to Primark for £12, these shoes have been my holy grail for this month. I bloody love them, that’s all I can say plus the quality is insane for the price!

That’s all for now, comment below your favourites!

YVES Saint Laurent Le Teint Touché Eclat Foundation Review

Hello beauties, today we are talking foundations. I haven’t done a review in ages, it’s well overdue -so here we go. The product I’m going be reviewing for you is the YVES Saint Laurent Le Teint Touché Eclat Foundation. I got given a sample at my local Boots store  which I was very exciting however I am very indecisive about this one, it has a lot of pros and cons.

This is what the full bottle looks like, it retails at £33.50 from Boots.

It comes in a huge range of different colours for different skin tones 22 to be exact! The foundation claims to have coverage whilst feeling weightless, i can confirm It does feel very light on the skin however the coverage isn’t there for me. I love the dewy, radiant finish, it blends beautifully and effortlessly with a beauty blender, which is definitely a plus! I have noticed the little sample bottle has lasted 2 weeks longer than I was informed which is also a amazing benefit.

I must say this foundation doesn’t work on my skin type, I’m oily – this foundation slides off my face too quickly. I had a colour match in store then to find it oxidise’ on the skin. When I am having a bad skin day, which is a lot of the time. It clings to my acne and dry patches, it clumps and cakes around those areas which is not pleasant. However if I was having the once in a blue moon good skin day then I think the caking wouldn’t be there as it’s just smooth skin.

My Peircings.

Hello beauties, I love piercings I love them more than tattoos as they are not permanent and I’m always changing my mind. When I was younger I wanted every pricing ever, that’s changed how however I have a few and thought I would share them with you today.
1. Tragus piercing

I love this one, I think it’s so pretty. People say the tragus piercing is very painful however I didn’t find that, I would say about 4/10. The first time I got it done was at a dodgy place it ended up infected and I had to take it out… opps. The second time at a different place went all fine. I find this piercing easy to sleep on as it just misses the pillow and their is no weight on it.

2. Belly piercing

I adored my belly piercing, I used to walk around in crop tops just to show it off, It hurt quite a bit around a 6/10, it was a slow process compared to the tragus as it was thicker skin, it felt like she was piercing for a long time. I brought endless amounts of cute belly bars, and told everyone about it. I’m not going to lie, I really don’t like it anymore, I don’t know why-I just don’t.

3. Cartilage piercing

I got a double helix piercing on the same day, it was my first piercing I don’t think I was prepared for how much this would hurt. It hurt so bad a 9/10, I couldn’t sleep on the ear for 4 months, they were so sore, kept catching on my clothes-but I love them. Maybe they wouldn’t of hurt so much if I got them different days but I know if I didn’t get both there and then I would chicken out. I think they are both really pretty, I love putting hoops in them.

Life From My Cats Perspective

Hello beauties, today I’m doing something a little different. I have a strange little cat, I thought I would let him share his Monday with you.
I’m Biggie.

I must say my favourite thing to do first thing in the morning is meow, I love singing a good song outside my owners doors until they let me inside their bedroom for a cuddle. However I tend to get distracted and chew things on the way, mostly wires, cables they don’t look important -I’m sure it’s okaay. This is my favourite ‘do you have any food’ look, it works most the time- I’m defiantly a charmer.

I love food, most of my day consists of meowing for food, stealing my family’s food, I especially love porridge, I shouldn’t I know but I love it, sometimes I even love to wear it on my head, it’s truly a statement piece, all the cats in the village will be jealous – top designers, hit me up! So this is me posing, I am a little annoyed as she didn’t get the right angle to show my best features-this will do…I suppose. In this next photo, I don’t know what this is, but it’s so tasty. I love this photo of me, it shows me in my element.

I found this today, hmm what is it? I will teach you to mess with me you squishy thing. Everyone was staring at me doing this, I think they were impressed by my bravery.

Oh no I got caught! Can never get any privacy. Maybe they didn’t see. I see how it is, whenever I want to join them in the bath it’s a big no no, however they walk in on me.

What I got for Christmas!

Hiya beauties, i love Christmas and as I always say – these posts are my favourite to read!

I picked out four of my favourite gifts for this post excluding the Kylie Lip kits I received as I wrote a blog about them. If you would like to see my review on the lip kits go check out my last blog😄

I hope everyone had a very merry holiday season with their friends and family and I am so greatful for everything I received.

Topshop suade ankle boots!

I wasn’t a big fan of the big bulky Chelsea boots, don’t get me wrong they are beautiful but I’m too tall to wear them! I know it’s tragic. I look like a giant and I feel very uncomfortable when I’m taller than everyone else around so I gave them a miss. However these boots are perfect height for me, the are a black suade boot with a little heal and tie up laces from topshop. I love them with a big cosy jumper and some skinny jeans or for a more formal wearing a bodycon knee length skirt.

The next thing I’m obsessed with is ‘PALMOLIVE GOURMET Body Butter Shower Creams’

I have to say these are the sweetest smelling shower creams that I know of. The chocolate one is ridiculous, it’s so incredible – I think personally you eaither love it or you hate it as some people can’t stand sweet shower creams which is completely understandable. I love them the smell is very strong whilst bathing but after its a sutle scent on the skin.

The next thing is a book, I struggle to read but the movie ‘Me Before You’ had me in tears even the forth time I watched it so I am so greatful that my brother got this for me.

JoJo Moyes – After You, the sequel to Me Before You

I have only read four chapters but it is already incredible, I cannot wait to read more.

I have never used any Lee Stafford products before – yes I’m a Lee Stafford virgin!

I haven’t used these yet so I can’t review them for you however I love the idea of a half dry shampoo and half hairspray, I must say it sounds very exciting. If anyone has tryed these products before let me know In the comments what you think!

CHOCOLATE!

To me personally it doesn’t truly feel like Christmas without receiving some sort of chocolate (words from a chocoholic)

My two favourites Galexy and Terry’s Chocolate Oranges Segments. I love chocolate that’s all I can say about this!haha

Bye bye for now ❤
