Easy Nail Art Ideas

Hello, it’s been a while! I’ve been messing about with uni and work, just life really. Well fast forward a waste of a year. Uni really isn’t for me, I didn’t get along with the work load or the way university works in general, it’s not for me. Anyways here I am, back as ever I can not wait to get started again. I hope you all enjoy my content❤️

So I’ve been very into my nail art lately and have been messing around with some easy ideas! These first ones are animal prints and animal designs (with a Pokémon ball on the end there)

These were really easy to create with a black nail art pen and dotting tools which cost less than £5! You can even use a hair grip or anything really as a dotting tool. The cat is my favourite! What’s yours:)

I tried a little bit of a Halloween theme for these ones! Except my Jason nail looks nothing like Jason. I love the multicoloured eyes, there are so cute! This is my first attempt of nail art so if I can do it, you can!

These are just standard cute nails, I tried stamping for the first time on the yellow nail however it didn’t work to well, it don’t know why but practise makes perfect right! I love the daisy nail again made with a simple dotting tool.

I thought I would share my first nail art attempts with you. I really am enjoying nail art and would love your opinions and Ideas to create other designs.

Let me know what you think! What’s your favourite nail and have you recreated any of these😊

Exciting clothing HAUL!!

Hello beauties, today I have a haul for you. I probably shouldn’t of brought all this stuff however I did and I love it all. Right now I’m sitting all cosy, I got caught in the worst rain I’ve seen in ages! The point of me telling you this is that all my new clothes that I was wearing got drenched nevertheless they are currently drying on the radiator, it’s not all bad I have a bar of Oreo dairy milk-yumm yum.

The first item on my list of beautiful goodies is…

TIMBERLAND BOOTS, I bloody love them. I always um and ah about these as I adore them but the price tag hurts me. I would never be able to afford these alone so me and my boyfriend brought one shoe each. Worked out £65 each from office. It was the last pair and I think the women serving me wanted them as she seemed a bit annoyed that I was buying them…oops. I bet your thinking the colours a bit odd, I really love the colour it’s different to the classic Timberland boot colour whilst not being to bright. The colour works perfectly with most outfits, they are causing a few blisters but hopefully that subsides soon.

Next is a skirt from Topshop

i love Topshop clothing, I wouldn’t buy something that wasn’t in the sale though due to my tight budget being a student and all. This was £20 in the sale-I adore it. I find difficult to find skirts that fit around my bum and waist perfectly, but this skirt has a thumbs up from me. Plus it matches my next item.

I do have a obsession with this colour, I always tend to put my boyfriend in the direction of burgundy coloured clothes also, it’s great! These shoes were from New Look and cost £19 pound, what a bargain! I wanted a pair of heeled boots that were not too high for going out and nicer occasions as I am always in either converse, trainers or my new found love for my Timberland boots. I did have to size down in the shoes due to them not having my size however it was well worth it for these beauties.

I love this I think it’s great. I thought this would look so cute with a pair of boyfriend jeans or high waisted jeans I needed some more T-shirts. £5 a great price, plus I do love Harry Potter it reminds me of the Harry Potter puppet pals which is brilliant. That’s all from me(I may need to make a part 2) comment your thoughts and opinions below Lots of love Alex.xox

L’Oréal Paris Infallible TOTAL COVER foundation review

Hello beauts, my blog is back. To kick things off I am starting with a well overdue foundation review followed by a very exciting beauty and clothing haul tomorrow. So let’s get to the point the L’Oréal Infallible foundation..

Now first off the bottle is a yes from me, I definitely prefer plastic to glass foundation bottles. Yes glass is visually pleasing however is it worth the sudden rush of panic every time your bag of goods is dropped(plus if your clumsy like me-that’s often). I brought this after many good reviews it cost £9.99 from Superdrug on a 3for2 deal, because it was 3for2 I thought I would go all out and buy the L’Oréal beauty blender too-it wouldn’t feel right not too.

We will just ignore the upside down photo and the dirty beauty blender. The consistency for this product was a shock to me, it’s a thick mousse not in the slightest oily which is perfect for my acne prone skin. This applied smoothly, blendable and true to colour so there was no nasty surprises. Now this claims to be ‘total cover’ so it’s only right to talk about that, it’s BRILLIANT all the red blotches gone. Due to the consistency I expected a heavy feel but that wasn’t there, I forgot the foundation was there. I’ve tried many foundations and I actually gave up using it for a year due to not being able to find the perfect one for my difficult skin, and I bit the bullet and brought this beauty. My new makeup holy grail. L’Oréal Infallible.

That’s all from me beauts, leave below your comments and opinions on this foundation. 🙂

Favourite Netflix Picks for the Month

Hello sweets today I’m sitting watching Netflix all day long therefore i thought it would be relevant to share my favourite TV picks.

1. DEXTER!

I’m nearly on the last season, i adore this show…. it’s addictive. If you like a serial killer plus forensic blood splatter analysis in one, this is the show for you.

2. Rick and Morty

I’m unsure if this is Netflix but who cares good TV is what matters here 🙂

American Dad and Family Guy are great but they have slowed down a bit and watching the same episode over and ever isn’t fun. Rick and Morty is like these shows but a scientist and his grandson. BLOODY BRILLIANT, I find nothing funny but this is hilarious.

3. The Originals

Think of a more adult version of Thw Vampire Diaries, not that The Vampire Diaries isn’t great because it’s amazing. However take away the high school part and we have the Originals, plus Klous is definitely something good….

4. Riverdale

This had me on the edge of my seat well… bed, all season. It was full of twists and turns and it’s definitely so,etching to watch amazballs.

And now the best part, my favourite snacks for these Netflix shows… yumm yumm

Candy Floss Grapes are amazing. It’s not like when you get a flavoured thing and it tastes nothing like it, it’s very candyflossy! It makes healthy eating a tad bit easier.

Harribo Milkshakes are the best Harribos around yumm yumm yumm.

That’s all from me, let me know any Netflix shows I should be watching and what you watch off the list above

Beauty and Clothing Haul and Some Favourites

Hiya peeps(trying something new…. nope peeps isn’t happening).

I have gathered some things from various shops over the past few weeks and thought I would share them with you. I’m quite broke but it’s ok because I got myself a job! Anyways this is what I brought, plus some cheeky favourites.

Primark! I do love the shop, here’s what I brought.

Both the shorts and the skirt were £8 each, bargin! The shorts kinda of remind me of the clothes I used to wear when I was around six but ah well they are just so cute! The skirt is a staple piece that I’ve always wanted but never found, well Primark has done well, because I can now introduce you to my favourite piece of clothing, my £8 denim skirt.

This is a bra, I’m posting my bra on the interwebs… strange. I have to be honest I scribbled out the middle as it made me feel less embarrassed about my underwear being on the internet. It worked a charm, embarrassment… gone! I see these around a lot lately, people wearing low cut tops and the pretty design at the top being on display, however I can’t seem to find a top to work with it, any suggestions leave below! This bra needs to be worn. Oh yeah £6, amazballs!

Next is a Jeffree Star Liquid Lipstick in the colour Sagittarius. The people who come up with the names for these lip products are geniuses, I could never think of a name for every different lip shade. I could pretend that I brought this but I’m trying this thing where I’m completely honest, yeah my sister gave it too me – I can’t afford this stuff(yet). I love the colour it’s different, unique, beautiful.

Revolution palettes. These are amazing, such pretty colours. With the highligher and blush palette I get to look like a glitter bomb exploded on my face – never too much highlighter! With the contour palette I have one shade I adore, a contour shade that doesn’t make me look like a orange and who could want more than that.

(I only showed the first palette on my hand as I only use one colour in the second which is the one on the second row third in, my lack of photography skills make it look darker than it is but I promise perfect shade!)

FAVOURITES OF JULY!

I brought a DS, yes I know a little late to be getting on the trend however I love it! Zelda is my favourite at the moment however once I find Sims I will be unable to focus on anything other than.

This is poppy, we have a love hate relationship. I am a vocalist but I also have vocal problems so when poppy comes out and I try to sing with her we eaither click instantly or fail greatly. We have been clicking lately however I see our relationship going south after rehearsals today.

With college out of summer Netflix has become a daily thing. The Originals is my all time favourite for me personally it’s a better take of The Vampire Diaries and Klous is beautiful. Dexter is also a favourite at the moment, I’m also rewatching My Mad Fat Diary on more 4 which is brilliant!

Back to Primark for £12, these shoes have been my holy grail for this month. I bloody love them, that’s all I can say plus the quality is insane for the price!

That’s all for now, comment below your favourites!

Rimmel London Colour Rush Balm Reveiw

Hello girlies, today I am going to Reveiw the ‘Rimmel London Colour Rush Balm’ That retails at £7.99

There are so many different colours you can get this balm in, which is amazing as sometimes you love a product but can’t find it in the right shade.

I find this product very creamy plus moisturising, it applys very smoothly and to me they smell a bit like vanilla!( but I have heard people say they smell like mint, strawberry and even cupcakes! all sorts!) I love a good lip product with a pleasant scent, that isn’t too strong. I think you should definitey use a lip liner with this product as it I feel like you can’t get a good line on the top lip, but that’s my only major fault. This product stays on after eating but loses its shine, but that’s Okaay, because the product has stained your lips (in a good way). It doesn’t feel as heavy as a lipstick but has all the qualitys of a lipstick, being pigmented, easy to apply ECT. You can also build it up if you want a more intense look.

I feel this lip product is perfect for summer, Spring and I will definitey purchase more shades!

MUA eyebrow pencil review (blonde)

Hello girlies, I have to say I’ve never seen my eyebrows this good before! This is my Reveiw on the MUA brow pencil which retails at £1 from SuperDrug. First thing that caught my eye about this product is the brush on the end, I didn’t think it would come in so handy but it does, it makes a huge difference in how natural the brows look, also in the shape and even to get a even colour all round.

The pencil is so smooth, I find some eyebrow pencils can be really difficult to apply as you have to press quite hard which hurts a little. This one is not like that it’s smooth, pigmented and a perfect colour match. I like to draw the shape of my brow, fill in the outer 3/4 and then comb the product through the first 1/4 to get a natural look.

I have not found a single fault with this product yet and I have been using it for around 6 months. I have heard some people say the pencil smudges in hot weather, but if you live in Britan there is not much chance of hot weather to smuge your gorgeous brows.

I love this product so much and will re-purchase without a doubt.

That’s all for now girlies Adiós ❤

Rimmel Glam Eyes, Eyeshadow Quad Reveiw

Hello girlies,

Today i will be doing a review on the’Rimmel Glam Eyes Quad’

I love these palettes, there are so many different colour options, so you have the opportunity to create so many different looks.

The packaging of this product is amazing, sleek, sturdy and looks like it’s more expensive than it really is however I do not like the sponge tip applicator that comes with it, it is very small and fidly and doesn’t really work very well to get the disired look.

The product is very pigmented smooth and easy to apply, the colours blend very well together. I like how there is four colours so you could get a couple of different looks from one pallette, night time and day time. The eye shadows last all day and are very inexpensive retailing at £6.99 in any drugstore or big supermarket. Another thing I love is that there is a picture on the back showing you wear to put each colour which is very helpful for a lot of people.

Overall I love this, I use a big fluffy blending brush for blending and a small compact blush for the lid. Highly recommended! And great value for money

Rimmel London – Brow This Way Review!

Hello girlies, today I will be doing a review on the ‘Rimmel London, Brow This Way’

First off can I just say the box is so cute and I love the idea of a little brow brush it’s somthing I have never seen before in a eyebrow duo.

You can get 2 colours for this product a lighter and a darker depending on your colour brows, I like to use the lighter one. I think this product is extremely good value for money (£3.99) and is very high quality for a drugstore brand!

In this kit you get wax plus a powder, and a brush to apply with. The product blends really easily and doesn’t smudge! I also defiantly love the little brow brush, that is also included; because the product is so pigmented you only need a little product on your brows to achieve a brilliant natural look! ( for a even more natural look use only the powder, I do that sometimes and I love the results)

I would recommend this product for any eyebrow shade – just pick the one closest to your shade as you can adjust the darkness with how much you apply and layering it up. Overall great product!
