Easy Nail Art Ideas

Hello, it’s been a while! I’ve been messing about with uni and work, just life really. Well fast forward a waste of a year. Uni really isn’t for me, I didn’t get along with the work load or the way university works in general, it’s not for me. Anyways here I am, back as ever I can not wait to get started again. I hope you all enjoy my content❤️

So I’ve been very into my nail art lately and have been messing around with some easy ideas! These first ones are animal prints and animal designs (with a Pokémon ball on the end there)

These were really easy to create with a black nail art pen and dotting tools which cost less than £5! You can even use a hair grip or anything really as a dotting tool. The cat is my favourite! What’s yours:)

I tried a little bit of a Halloween theme for these ones! Except my Jason nail looks nothing like Jason. I love the multicoloured eyes, there are so cute! This is my first attempt of nail art so if I can do it, you can!

These are just standard cute nails, I tried stamping for the first time on the yellow nail however it didn’t work to well, it don’t know why but practise makes perfect right! I love the daisy nail again made with a simple dotting tool.

I thought I would share my first nail art attempts with you. I really am enjoying nail art and would love your opinions and Ideas to create other designs.

Let me know what you think! What’s your favourite nail and have you recreated any of these😊

Exciting clothing HAUL!!

Hello beauties, today I have a haul for you. I probably shouldn’t of brought all this stuff however I did and I love it all. Right now I’m sitting all cosy, I got caught in the worst rain I’ve seen in ages! The point of me telling you this is that all my new clothes that I was wearing got drenched nevertheless they are currently drying on the radiator, it’s not all bad I have a bar of Oreo dairy milk-yumm yum.

The first item on my list of beautiful goodies is…

TIMBERLAND BOOTS, I bloody love them. I always um and ah about these as I adore them but the price tag hurts me. I would never be able to afford these alone so me and my boyfriend brought one shoe each. Worked out £65 each from office. It was the last pair and I think the women serving me wanted them as she seemed a bit annoyed that I was buying them…oops. I bet your thinking the colours a bit odd, I really love the colour it’s different to the classic Timberland boot colour whilst not being to bright. The colour works perfectly with most outfits, they are causing a few blisters but hopefully that subsides soon.

Next is a skirt from Topshop

i love Topshop clothing, I wouldn’t buy something that wasn’t in the sale though due to my tight budget being a student and all. This was £20 in the sale-I adore it. I find difficult to find skirts that fit around my bum and waist perfectly, but this skirt has a thumbs up from me. Plus it matches my next item.

I do have a obsession with this colour, I always tend to put my boyfriend in the direction of burgundy coloured clothes also, it’s great! These shoes were from New Look and cost £19 pound, what a bargain! I wanted a pair of heeled boots that were not too high for going out and nicer occasions as I am always in either converse, trainers or my new found love for my Timberland boots. I did have to size down in the shoes due to them not having my size however it was well worth it for these beauties.

I love this I think it’s great. I thought this would look so cute with a pair of boyfriend jeans or high waisted jeans I needed some more T-shirts. £5 a great price, plus I do love Harry Potter it reminds me of the Harry Potter puppet pals which is brilliant. That’s all from me(I may need to make a part 2) comment your thoughts and opinions below Lots of love Alex.xox

L’Oréal Paris Infallible TOTAL COVER foundation review

Hello beauts, my blog is back. To kick things off I am starting with a well overdue foundation review followed by a very exciting beauty and clothing haul tomorrow. So let’s get to the point the L’Oréal Infallible foundation..

Now first off the bottle is a yes from me, I definitely prefer plastic to glass foundation bottles. Yes glass is visually pleasing however is it worth the sudden rush of panic every time your bag of goods is dropped(plus if your clumsy like me-that’s often). I brought this after many good reviews it cost £9.99 from Superdrug on a 3for2 deal, because it was 3for2 I thought I would go all out and buy the L’Oréal beauty blender too-it wouldn’t feel right not too.

We will just ignore the upside down photo and the dirty beauty blender. The consistency for this product was a shock to me, it’s a thick mousse not in the slightest oily which is perfect for my acne prone skin. This applied smoothly, blendable and true to colour so there was no nasty surprises. Now this claims to be ‘total cover’ so it’s only right to talk about that, it’s BRILLIANT all the red blotches gone. Due to the consistency I expected a heavy feel but that wasn’t there, I forgot the foundation was there. I’ve tried many foundations and I actually gave up using it for a year due to not being able to find the perfect one for my difficult skin, and I bit the bullet and brought this beauty. My new makeup holy grail. L’Oréal Infallible.

That’s all from me beauts, leave below your comments and opinions on this foundation. 🙂

Collection 24hr Extreme Felt Tip Liner review (AKA Holy Grail eyeliner)

Hello girlies,

I always find a cat eye flick suits me well, and this product helps me achieve the look so quickly and simply.

Collection 24hr Extreme Felt Tip Liner review.

I love felt tip eyeliners, they are so much easier than using a liquid liner which for me personally takes too long to dry, to difficult to get a strait and even look and just to advanced for my set of skills.

First off the liner stays on all day, I have trouble with oily eyelids removing the product throughout the day but Collection have done amazingly to create a formula that withstands my oily eyelids. I think this product is very easy to use so would be perfect for anyone still trying to master that cat eye flick, I love how much control you have when using this eyeliner, it’s smooth not harsh and for the price £2.98 I’m not complaining! I used the Rimmel London equivalent to this product and it smudged very quickly although I think the tip of the pen was very similar to the Collection product, again being smooth and easy to control. Some eyeliners can be a more faded black but this is jet black, the intenseness of the colour does fade after a while but doesn’t smudge, that would be my only criticism.

Overall would recommend to anyone who loves a winged liner!

The best concealer ever!

Hello girlies,

Not going to lie, Collection 2000 makeup is one of my favourite brands to buy. What’s not to like about affordable good quality make up products.

Now I have to say YouTube made my buy this product, as you know YouTube has that affect on people. You know the feeling, seeing products working miracles for all these beautiful YouTubers and thinking – I need that product! Well that was my exact feeling whilst purchasing this first product

Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer (shade-fair1)  retail price: £4.19 from any drugstore or supermarket.

As you can see mine is very warn out so I thought I would post another picture so people can see clearly what the product looks like.

I use this mainly under my eyes and on the bridge of my nose as I find this is more of a brightning concealer than a concealer for acne. This product has a smooth creamy formula which is easily blended, I struggle blending under the eyes and I just feel like I am rubbing off my foundation which is never very good however I don’t get this with this product. I use a beauty blender to dab the product into the skin, I find this is the most effective way of getting a full coverage, brighter look. I do find setting the concealer with a powder essures you get a long lasting finish, any powder will do I just use a pressed powder from Rimmel London. I don’t find this product at all cakey even whilst having that flawless, full coverage look.

I use the lightest shade which is fair I believe you can get 4 different shades. I find it is the perfect colour for my skin tone, not to pink or yellow toned just a perfect match.

I love Collection  make up and always have from the beginning, it’s a brand I trust. If there is a product you would like me to review, just let me know 😀

Collection palette review – #YOURSTYLEYOURMOOD

Hello beautiful girlies, I thought I would do my first review on the collection #YOURSTYLEYOURMOOD

theses are the swatches

Now there is also 2 matte colours in the palette but they are really light and wouldn’t show on my hand.

First off I have to say I love the colours in this palette its such a interesting combination of colours and it truly is #YOURSTYLEYOURMOOD as you can create many different looks from summer days to nights out with this palette, also having a range of matte, shimmer and glitter.

They product is easy to carry around instead of traveling with loads of different single eye shadows you have everything you need in one palette, although I think there should be some silvers and blacks included.

The eye shadows are not as pigmented as some others I have used but using a good base resolves the issue, and for £5.99 for 10 colours you can’t complain! It’s a bargin. The colours apply easily, blend easy and are smooth to apply another plus is they don’t crease and last a good 8hours before fading.

Overall I think this palette is great value for money and is a must have! (This is not sponsorsed, everything on my blog is my personal opinion)

That’s all for now girlies
